Today was the closing day and the last day of Binus Cup. Our meeting for the day started at 12:30 p.m, on the 8th floor tower A. We then discussed the days event and how everything would go. We then separated to our respective groups, because i am also in the closing ceremony, i joined in the ceremonies group. I was assigned to take care of GIGI art dance school, to pick them up form the lobby, bring them up to the 4th floor drama room for them to settle down. The game started at 1:30 p.m., form there i started in the medical team, gladly to say that the boy who broke his leg some time ago is fine and he came to support his team. At 6 oclock, i had to go down to the lobby to take care of the lift flow because guests coming to see the closing were coming and the 0th floor was extremely full. After that i got to the GIGI's art school of dance and brought them to the 4th floor drama room to prepare and settle down. There were about 43 people and i had to go to the 7th floor to get their food. They performed on the 8th floor, 2 parts. Raisa also performed, there were also the awarding ceremony, everyone were there and things went smoothly. It was a great show, things went well and the entire event officially ended at about 12:00 midnight. The last two weeks have been very tiring, everyone had to stay back very late to patrol and take shifts for the Binus cup. There were many criticisms and praises, everything jumbled up. But despite the negative criticisms and everything else, the entire event turned out successful and remarkable. Everyone worked well with each other, we all got to know one another even better, we were able to learn to cooperate with people form many different schools and different people. This also gave us a learning experience when we are given unwanted/unexpected situations, we should be able to overcome and tackle it. I also learned how important every division is to an event: medical, ceremonies, competition, sponsorships and consumption. SO the next time i am a part of an event, or hosting it, i am sure of what is needed. Being a part of the ceremonies team allowed me to be able to expand my network, because i now know i have a link to an emcee. I also know how important and how to fill in a show for the audience. Entertainment is also very important, Raise and GIGI art school of dance are one of the amazing performance and entertainment. Being a part of the medical team allowed me to be more aware of different medical cases and how to treat them, i know the many different kinds of medicine and how to treat it better. The two keys of being in the medical team: calm down and stay calm, and to always give the patient air to breathe and space. For the entire thins, for everything that happened and for everything that i experienced, i am glad to say that i learned a lot, experienced a lot and ive made a lot of effort in learning and experiencing the entire event.
